The Earth Moves Five Ways
Another one from the Lost Archives, this album was recorded in one night's improvisation in 2004. The setting was a classic New Orleans double-gallery style house in the Lower Garden District from the early 19th century: a large room with cypress floors and no furniture or wall coverings as the previous tenants had just moved out.
Although a much-shortened excerpt of this session was released on the 2006 charity compilation Proud To Swim Home as "The Earth Moves Five Ways (Long Version)") this is the first time that the full hour-long recording has been released.
